Dear Cris,
It is I who thanks you for the very illuminating evening with you last night. I was already telling my friends in the office about your project and how impressed I am with your deep involvement with helping our countrymen. It IS payback time for every one of us in the U.S. especially those who have been in this land of plenty for so long. It is very inspiring to hear of projects like these and people like you being involved in them. As you said, our culture does not really encourage us to be givers but it is imperative these times that we give and give till it hurts. This after all is one of the best ways we can truly be witnesses for Christ in showing our love of neighbor as He commanded us to do.
