Formerly known as a microfinance institution, ABS-CBN Bayan Foundation has veered away from the mainstream practices and consciously struck a balance between microfinance's nature of sustainability and social dimension. No longer being commonly known as a mere microfinance institution, Bayan has dedicated itself in building the Filipino nation through bolstering social and enterprise development, and democratizing entrepreneurship and education while maintaining its microfinance operations as an effective tool for building enterprises and not as an end.
In Bayan's philanthropic quest, three premier programs spearhead the organization's humanitarian journey. Designed to democratize entrepreneurship and education, the Enabling Network for the Upliftment of Filipino Families (ENUFF) adheres to the non-financial needs of the Filipino families. With its various programs, ENUFF takes the role of a job creator, wealth generator and family formator.
